Life without dogs???

I was sitting this beautiful sunny morning with my four dogs all around me on different sides of me sleeping, and one, snoring just a little bit while I am reading random blogs and news on the internet; when a thought came racing into my head. If there were ever a time when there are no dogs on this great Earth, would I still want to be here? Honestly I think not because what would our world be like without them and the attitude towards life. To err is human to forgive, canine. My goal in life is to be as good of a person as my dog already thinks I am, and my favorite, “Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole.” Need I say more?

Amen, Chris. I can't even imagine having just one dog, let alone no dogs. I worry about the day when I'm either in a nursing home or some other facility and won't have a dog of my own. When I worked at the nursing home, there were always therepay dogs visiting or just the dogs of the visitors. I would bring mine in once in a while and the residents just loved it. A dog is true unconditional love.

BTW, I just had to go into my account and change the name to mine. I didn't need a different email address.

I have those same fears...if I get too old to care for them or in a facility...I shutter the thought. And there is no better companion than the faithful dog with his/her unconditional love just as you stated. Glad you were able to fix the account without too much difficulty. Have a great Sunday.

Now that I know how wonderful a life can be with dogs, I can't see a life without them.
